Vikram has a rich corporate career spanning 38 years, which he started with the UK based multinational “Coats Viyella, India” where he worked for nearly two decades and rose to become President of the Textile division. Later, he joined “Aditya Birla Group”, a USD 45 Bn global multinational with business operations in 34 countries, as a Group Executive President (Fashion brands & Retail) reporting into the Group Chairman. On joining, he masterminded the Group’s entry into the branded apparel industry with the acquisition of Madura Garments and built and transformed the brands which are currently valued at over USD 2 Bn, more than 30X of the original buy price. During his tenure, Vikram held multiple board positions in various group companies.
