Professionally, I am better structured, able to identify key responsibilities, delegate better and through a strong review mechanism able to ensure that I am on top of things. Also, I am getting more time to focus on strategic items than being focused just on day to day activities.

I have had the honour and privilege of working for Mr. Rao, first at Arvind Mills and then, at Madura Garments, across India and United Kingdom. He is one of the most visionary leaders that I have worked for. With a clear focus on the long term, and the big picture, he is an inspirational leader who consistently built winning teams. He was tough, challenging, and yet caring as a leader, with the great ability of building lasting relationships across customers, employees, and all stakeholders. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Rao has been a great support to me, as a mentor, and a guide, someone to whom I have turned to for advice and guidance at various stages in my career.

Vikram has an excellent ability to engage and motivate people across all levels to achieve the common goal as well as excel in their individual domain. He is very calm and composed.

It was my privilege and honour to work for Mr Rao during my formative years in fashion and retail industry. Mr Rao was a visionary leader who played a vital role in not only making madura garments what it is today, but also shaped the leadership and career of many CEOs like me, who work in some of the top retail organisations in this country today.
